A combination of increased public demand and a growth of infrastructure at Riverbend resulted in an opportunity presenting itself when the new Conference and Administration Centre was built in 2004 to incorporate the construction of a new much larger art gallery.

At a grand function on the 1st December 2005 attended by prominent artists, other friends and family the new Riverbend Art and Wine Gallery was formally opened. A wonderful space has been created which is enhanced by clever lighting in this gallery.

The gallery is now able to offer more space and hence a diversity of product not just restricted to original paintings. Many of the artists who supplied the original gallery together with a number of new exhibitors have found a home in the new building (See Artists).

Riverbend Art Gallery is currently run by the owner Howard Kelly and Jean Le Roux who both offer years of experience and an intimate knowledge of both the art and the artist. Riverbend Art Gallery presents one significant exhibition each year and in 2006 the “Titta Fasciotti – A master remembered” , and in 2007 “Richard Rennie – A master rediscovered”  where presented as wonderfully successful exhibitions.
