This family owned and run business, established in 1981, has entertained more than 2.5 Million people since it's inception. Established as the first commercial crocodile farm in South Africa, Riverbend continues to diversify. Now also home to one of the finest selections of wine in the region and an art gallery, which is home to the works of leading South African artists.

Crocodile Viewing & Feeding
The farm is open daily from 9h00 to 16h30. Crocodile feeding takes place every Sunday at 15h00 and every Wednesday at 15h00 in the summer months of December, January, February, March & April. The farm is closed on Christmas Day.
Crocodile Hatching
Crocodile Hatching normally commences late December until early March. Due to the unpredictability of hatching it is essential to phone the farm for details of the hatching demonstrations.

Snakes
A weekly snake demonstration takes place every Sunday at 14h30 and more frequently during holiday season. 19 different species are housed in the farms “snake house”.
